The only method the NFL has to distribute tickets to the public is through a random drawing. There
is no other way for the general public to purchase tickets.
Entries for the random drawing are accepted between Feb. 1 and June 1 of the year
preceding the Super Bowl game. All ticket requests must be sent via certified or registered
mail. Those selected in the random drawing will receive an invoice for two tickets.
Ticket requests for the Super Bowl should be sent to:
NFL Super Bowl Tickets
280 Park Ave.
New York, NY 10017
- In your request, include your name, address and telephone number.
- Ticket requests must be received between Feb. 1 and June 1 (as described above).
- Only one request per address is accepted.
- All duplicate and nonregistered or certified requests are disregarded.
In October, you will receive a card in the mail notifying you if have been
selected. If so, you will then need to pay for the tickets, which you will
receive in December.
Due to the volume of requests that the NFL receives, I suggest that if you own season
tickets with an NFL team (or know someone who does), that you contact them directly to
inquire about Super Bowl ticket availabililty.
For example, the Packers have a random drawing for their Super Bowl tickets, and all season
ticket holders are automatically entered. If your name is drawn, you are usually notified
the week of the first wild card games.
DISCLAIMER: The NFL can of course change their policies at any time, and they have no
obligation to notify the South End Zone. So, I recommend that you contact the NFL
directly to verify the above info.
