The South End Zone Mailing List is an announcement-only list that provides all kinds of
cool information for Packers fans.
You cannot send messages to the South End Zone Mailing List; you can only receive
messages. The message volume is pretty low; you can expect to receive a couple of e-mails
per week during the season, and maybe a couple per month during the off-season.
What You Get:
Len Wagner's online column "Wags"! Many of you remember Len as a Green Bay
Press-Gazette sports reporter, sports editor and sports columnist.
He covered the Packers through portions of five decades, and though he is now retired,
he takes the time each week to let us know what's on his mind.
Tom Freeman's online column "West Coast Offensive"! Tom, a Packer fan who hails
from San Francisco, has been sharing his west coast perspective with the internet
world since 1997.
Keith Brewster's Packer Forecast. Keith is a research meteorologist at the Center
for Analysis and Prediction of Storms in Norman, Oklahoma. He gives us a weather forecast for all Packer games, home
and away. He also provides satellite coordinates. And, perhaps his most famous feature, is his weekly limerick to
put a smile on your face and get you ready for the upcoming game.
"Blast from the Past" is a feature where snippets of Packers news from years past are sent to your e-mail box. These stories are originally written by Jeff Ash, and are taken direclty from his famous "Green Bay Updates."
I will also occasionally send my own messages to the list if I happen to have some
information that I feel most list members would like to hear. This would normally consist
of little tidbit news stories that I might hear on the local news.
As you can see, this mailing list is packed with information for any Packer fan with an e-mail account.
It's important to know that this is not a discussion list. It's an announcement-only list that exists
only to keep you informed of current Packer-happenings.
